Be an Inventor at iINVENT

Work with OSU college students as invention mentors who will guide you in creating something that enhances the quality of life of someone else.  You will select a user for your invention project, work with a college mentor, meet new friends, and gain access to exclusive engineering design challenges and college connection events.  Become an inventor, meet college students, and learn about Oregon State University! 

Key Highlights

• iINVENT is a one-week camp held in local communities
• Apply science, technology, engineering, and math to create something that enhances the life of someone else

Only youth entering into 6th, 7th or 8th grade can apply.

iINVENT Expectations of Youth

We ask that youth be welcoming and willing to fail at iINVENT.  Fail fast and learn fast in a supportive inclusive community.  If you decide to join us at iINVENT, come knowing that inventors need a space to incubate ideas and to build community in order to develop creative solutions.  We are here to welcome all youth into that space and build community with them.
