Description: 
The ORB program is an educational outreach education program to promote public understanding of biotechnology in agriculture and natural resources. The program aims to explain the science behind genetic engineering and examines some of the science-based concerns pertaining to the use of this technology in agricultural production systems. The website contains numerous educational resources including downloadable PowerPoint presentations, regulatory information, news and current issues, as well as a variety of useful web links for further information. The program also provides a summer biotechnology workshop for high school teachers.
